Isla is just a delight to photograph. She wasn't a big fan of the Cake Smashing but that is ok, we had fun taking some family portraits beforehand. What a gorgeous family!

Thomas and Isaac's 1st Birthday
Thomas and Isaac were due 2 weeks apart but Tom was born before his EDD and Isaac was after his EDD so they were born 4 weeks apart. Back in July we celebrated their 1st birthday with a Dr Seuss themed cake smash and birthday party. It was a lot of fun!

Superheroes and Precious Gifts
I have copied the words from my blog post. This post was my most 'liked', 'commented' and 'shared' post. Robbie, Karlee and their boys, myself and my family...we all say THANK YOU for talking about organ donation. I have heard of one family that registered as organ donors after reading my post but who knows how many more? Feel free to share the link, talk to your friends and family and get this country donating life. - Dani
Half way through our session, the Dalton family vanished and were replaced by Batman, Superman, Batgirl and Robin.
In their house, costumes and playing pretend is an escape from an uncertain future and countless medical tests, appointments and dialysis. A way to cope with bad news and stress and to keep it all together for the kids.
Robbie has Renal Failure and is awaiting a kidney transplant. He was going to be having surgery next month but unfortunately the donor is not a match and Robbie's blood reacted too strongly. This would ultimately mean rejection. This means they have to just keep waiting...
Have you registered for organ donation? If not, why not? Most importantly, talk to your family about your wishes as they have the final say. Your gift, the gift of your family, could save a family just like Karlee and Robbie's a lot of heartache and give them more time together. That is a real superhero.
